I can't help but think there is always a place for what we intend for knowledge to achieve and what it does - eg the invention of the atomic bomb... Cal Newport goes into great detail about some of these in his book 'A World Without Email' but for me, this is another possible example. A blockade is negative news, intent upon forcing a country to achieve one thing. No one could ever say it was a good thing...could they?
Social Media - the effect of in Tunisia during the Arab Spring Uprising
It is important not to only go with presumed knowledge... I would suggest you go to Google scholar to check facts, theories.
London Underground Maps.
This is a great way to consider how we present knowledge and how it affects us. I have first hand knowledge of how important this is. Come and ask me. It involves being a skint student and trying to get home!
When is knowledge fact?
The idea of different learners is basic fact in teacher education, and has been for years. This video debunks something that 99% teachers in UK and Norway believe to be 'undebunkable'.
But it does something else. It questions how the knowledge came into being and why it remains as well as why it is so hard to dismiss.
It also highlights the idea of 'googling'. Sponsored by google it highlights that a bad search can create your echo chamber... a good search has to take in the opposite point of view.
Well worth a watch.
What is truth?
I love the bit about circular definitions:
Truth: the quality of being true.
and
Truth: a fact or belief that is accepted as true
This is worth reading if only for that. But there is more here so... give it a go.

Surely the present is fluid, the future us not set and the past is fixed. We cannot change it? Can we?
"The left has warped, distorted, and defiled the American story with deceptions, falsehoods, and lies,” Trump said an event at the National Archives.
